Company: Northern Broadsides
Northern Broadsides delivers a notably not 'of Windsor' Merry Wives in keeping with the company's Yorkshire roots and North-championing ethos. Some less than politically correct characterisations seemed to come straight out of the play's interwar setting. The romping production built on Yorkshire's superb tradition of pantomime.
